Passengers travelling from/to Austria:
If you have a KlimaTicket or Vorteilscard, it is valid up to the Austrian - Hungarian border point in Austria.
MÁV has introduced a special offer for KlimaTicket holders from 1st September 2024 called START KlimaTicket Mix. KlimaTicket holders (whether national or provincial) can travel in 2nd class for €20 and in 1st class for €30 in Hungary to their destination or departure station of the journey to Austria.
Domestic offers in Hungary are not available for international (cross-border) travel.
