The responsibilities of the Finance Division Accounting Unit include the preparation of accounting regulations of the MÁV Group and the consolidated financial statements of MÁV Zrt., as well as the provision of accounting services to companies having a service level agreement.
In addition, the Accounting Unit also provides expert services to the companies of the Group that require professional accounting skills, including especially the review of contracts, participation in the elaboration of regulations also pertaining to finance and accounting tasks and in current projects.
The Accounting Unit also operates and develops the accounting information systems of the Group in co-operation with the IT Division.
